I'm back!  Well, I guess an explanation of my disappearance might be in order, what do you think?  Around the time I stopped making updates, Star Wars Galaxies had come out and I became rather addicted to it.  I am currently attending school at Penn State and have had limited time because of that.  Instead of updating my site with my free time, I was playing SWG--as with all MMORPG games they really suck up your free time and SWG did just that.  I'm finally settling down slightly with playing SWG and I'm going to be putting up more stuff, updating many things, and trying my best to continue pumping out quality reviews, guides, and articles.  I hope you guys can forgive me for not having any crazy overclocking experiments to read up on, but I will work on putting up new content!

As for the store, I've been getting a decent amount of e-mails about what the status of the 9800 pro cold plates are.  Currently I do not think I'll be producing them.  If I do it will only be a small run of 10 or so, but I would think that they may just be skipped.  In any case, in the coming weeks look for a P4P800 review, a second look at the 8K5A3+, a Prometeia review, the conclusion of Project Cryofreezer, and the conclusion to the Coolermaster case I've been working on.

Well, it's finally time!  Time to unveil the long awaited "01-LN2" Liquid Nitrogen Container!  Get some!  For those of you not in the know.  What this is, is literally the best PC cooling solution.  At ~ -200C there is no colder substance.  Thus, there is no better cooling solution for a computer!  Of course, this is not for a permanent solution--it only lasts for a little while as the LN2 will evaporate but for the time you have your computer that cold you can get outrageous overclocks!  Currently there is an extremely limited supply of LN2 containers but I will be taking pre-orders!  Here's a little eye-candy ;)

Today I have posted a review of the Chenbro CH11L-BK 4U rack-mount case.  If you're in the market for a 4U case, a industrial case, or a cool tower.  Check it out!  Btw, I'm hearing on forums that now Icrontic is coming back!  That's always good to hear!  Hopefully the new owners will keep things moving smoothly.  And don't forget, the Liquid Nitrogen containers will be available exclusively right here on Maximum OC!  I can't wait! Mwahaha!

Yikes, I can't believe it's been more than a month since I've updated the site!  Well, I got a lot backed up to post and post I shall.  First up today is the Promise SX-4000 review.  Be sure to check that out.  In the coming week I'll post up a bunch more reviews.  Also if you haven't noticed, the site has been redesigned!  Hope everyone likes the new layout!  By the way, if you haven't seen Matrix Reloaded or Animatrix, you best see em!  Can't wait for those vids to come out on DVD! ;)  I'd also like to say good-bye to Icrontic.  I used to frequent the forums and liked the community.  Lots of knowledgeable guys there.  Thankfully most of those people have moved to other forums which I now go to! :)

I'd also like to officially announce that Maximum OC will be the EXCLUSIVE manufacturer of Liquid Nitrogen containers on the internet!  I will have pictures up and a page to purchase them hopefully by mid next week!

I've posted up a CPU voltage mod for the Soltek 75FRN series motherboards.  Also, look for a review of the Promise SX-4000 raid card (finally hehe) soon!

The review of the Zalman CNPS7000-CU heat sink is up!  Check it out if you're in the market for a silent cooling solution! :)

I wanted to let everyone know that after I do the 9800 pro vmods, I will post up pictures of them actually completed, and a little guide on what are safe voltages, what each does, etc.  But I wanted to get the basic up so those people who desperately needed the info could have it!

Now, news for today... I've posted up a review of the Zalman ZM400A-APF 400w power supply!  Get your silence on!  I'll be putting up another Zalman review tomorrow, but it's of their beast of a heatsink, the CNPS7000-CU!

Who wants a 9800 pro voltage mod!  I know I do that's for certain!  Luckily, the amazing macci from Finland has figured it out!  Click the picture below for a super huge image of how to do it!  I haven't yet done this mod, but I will very soon.  My overclocking rig is non-functional at the moment do to "technical difficulties".  ;[  Anyway, ENJOY and don't fry your boards!  And of course, you know the drill, if you fry it I'm not responsible for it!

I usually don't do press releases but this motherboard looks really sweet!  We have here the Abit IC7-G which runs on the Canterwood chipset.  As usual it has Soft Menu, but it also has 5 BIT FID in the BIOS (regular is 4 BIT) which will result in higher, more stable overclocks (hopefully ;] ).  It has something called Tweak Guard which will boot you into your bios if your settings failed.  Although this is not a new feature in general, it's new to Abit boards apparently, and it is a good feature.  It is loaded with features like the IT7-MAX2 was.  You have eight USB 2.0 plugs, Firewire, SPDIF out, and card readers for CF, Panasonid SD, and Sony memory sticks.  Abit has also added the feature to update it's bios in windows.  It's nice to see Abit doing this as well.  Again other manufacturers have done it, but all should if you ask me!  Serillel 2 is also included so you can run your IDE devices on SATA.  Pleasant!  And finally something called FAN EQ which allows you to control fan speed.

Abit is also boasting 1000mhz fsb speeds.  That would be 250mhz speeds, and with it's 4 phase power solution, it seems reasonable to think you could hit it.  The key I guess would be having memory that can handle 250mhz :P  Below are pictures of the box and motherboard.  Click to enlarge as usual.

The Soltek SL-75FRN-RL review is up!  Sorry for the delay guys, but ran into some crazy problems with my GF4 4200.  Maximum OC will be moving hosts so we may be down after April 18th for an undetermined amount of time.  Also, the Maximum OC forums will be opening shortly thereafter!  So get ready for that!

As you may have noticed the review didn't go up as planned.  I ran into a bit of a hardware problem--I'll leave it at that heh.  I'll get it up as soon as I can!  Btw, 18 days till my birthday!  Woohoo!

The Dell 1900FP multi-monitor review is up!  Check it out!  And again, tomorrow I'll have the Soltek NF2 mobo review up!

03.28.03 - ZACK
As I had said it was coming, here's my review of the PC Power and Cooling 510w Turbo Cool PSU!  The Soltek NF2 review should be up on Sunday!  And tomorrow I will have the Dell 1900FP review up!  As always I have even more things lined up but I just have to make time to get the reviews up.

One of those things lined up is a Prometeia/Coolermaster project that I am working on.  Speaking of which, I'd like to give a big thanks to Xoxide Modifications who have generously given me mods for that particular project.  Look for that in about a month!  And be sure to stop by Xoxide Mods for some quality modification and cooling products!
