Dell 1800FP Review

Intro

Today I'm looking at the Dell 1800FP 18.1" LCD.  This is Dell's "slim line" 18" LCD.  It has a smaller bezel and takes up less space than the other 18/17" versions.  With a small footprint, low power consumption, bright screen, lush colors, and slim-line design this LCD looks already to be a winner.  Dell's new line of slim LCDs are moderately priced.  This one will set you back $750 - 899 depending on the discounts that they offer and the 19" version is about $1050-1100.  The 18" is actually pretty cheap considering many other 18" LCDs are $1000+.

In my opinion Dell makes good computers.  For the group of people they're aimed at they're decent.  Of course us custom builders can blow away the computers they make but Dells support is quite good (or it has been for me so far) and their warranties are great.
