WHAT IS MAXIMUM OC? A
bit of history and who I am...
Maximum OC is
run by me, Zack Emerick, and has been since April 19, 2002. I've
been modifying, building, case modding, and cooling computers since
early 2000. I started getting into overclocking and watercooling
the summer of 2000 and showcased my computer, the CCR (Chu Chu Rockets)
case @ Recon 2000.
Since then my computer has been featured in Maximum PC as one of the
best Rigs of the Year! In 2001 I started to get into more advanced
cooling such as peltiers and
waterchilling. By X-Mas 2001 I had a
quad peltier, watercooled computer. In 2002 my cooling has now
advanced to a CryoFreezer
capable of ~ -100C which I hope to get running soon. I decided to
start up this site first to just have a place on the net for my
pictures, but I then decided to start up a store and sell extreme
performance computer cooling parts. And that's where I'm at
now. I hope to expand my inventory and carry some more products
down the road. In the future I'll be doing more cold plates for
graphics cards along with other extreme cooling methods such Liquid
Nitrogen and Dry Ice containers for those willing to go that far. The
sites I frequent...
I visit lots
of hardware sites to try and get all the news and information on
upcoming products and current products. You can view the list of
my favorite sites on my links page. I really like [H]ard|OCP and
XtremeSystems and you'll often find me in their forums posting
away. I also like the Icrontic Forums but as most people left that
to go to XtremeSystems, you'll usually find me there.
Who Else Helps?
Although Maximum OC started off being just run by
me. Others have helped me out with the site. Tony (RoydRage)
Bruno wrote the Prometeia-Li article and he will be doing more for the
site when he has time! :) I also want to give a HUGE thanks to
David (Stratos) Castellani. He runs Dionisus.com and also is
running the Maximum OC server keeping it running healthy and fast!
I would be totally lost with running this server without him hehe.

I often get
asked what my computer systems currently are so I thought I'd post here
and continually update when I change something. There may be
multiple processors or ram or whatever have you as I often interchange
things, well, more than often, more like daily ;) I have three
